President Cyril Ramaphosa was sworn into office unopposed in February after scandal prone Jacob Zuma conceded to the African National Congress’ (ANC’s) request to resign as President. South Africans in all nine provinces and investors breathed a collective sigh of relief at the news of his resignation.
For Cyril Ramaphosa as President of the Republic and as leader of the ruling ANC, challenges are sure to manifest, but South Africans are hopeful he will right the wrongs of Former President Jacob Zuma and put an end to all manner of state capture.
